A little About our Church

We realize that many people are not comfortable with the whole church scene. North Ridge was started with a goal of not "doing church" but investing in people. We want to help you succeed at this journey called "life." We have found that the secret to a successful life is to help people experience God in a personal and tangible way. We invite you to come and connect with God in a casual environment that is refreshingly different.

Current Sermon Series

When our adult life begins we all have plans and dreams for the direction our life will go.  After college we are going to get married and then find a job.  That marriage is going to lead to 2-4 kids with eventual grandchildren, and that job is going to lead us to starting our own business or at least making it to the top of our chosen field.  The plans and dreams look so wonderfully perfect, but somewhere along the way life surprises us and takes an unexpected turn.  Our career direction tells us it is time to turn right, but the company is downsized and we are out of a job.  Our marriage should be going full speed straight ahead, but somewhere along the way we have taken a detour, such that we are on a different road than our spouse.  Our kids, who used to adore us, are going in the opposite direction.  What are we supposed to do and how do we cope when life takes an unexpected turn?  Join us throughout the summer months on Sunday mornings at NRCC as we strive to answer this question and pick up some advice and life lessons from Daniel, a man whose life took more than his fair share of unexpected turns.

LifeSavers Ministries

From September 2008-2009 North Ridge Community Church has adopted LifeSavers Ministries as our local ministry to support.  LifeSavers Ministry goes into the roughest, toughest neighborhoods in Lee County to minister to the children in those neighborhoods.  For over twelve years LifeSavers has met the physical and educational needs of hundreds of children through back to school supplies, to Thanksgiving meals, to Christmas presents, to after-school tutoring, in addition to meeting their spiritual needs through Saturday Sunday School and weekly home visits.  To find out more about this ministry and how you can get involved, visit their website at www.lifesaversministries.org.

Purpose Statement

North Ridge Community Church exists to be and to build maturing and multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ by creating environments to encourage and equip the Body to pursue intimacy with God, community with believers, and influence with others.
